Segway Fort Lauderdale gives Complimentary Tours on Father's Day
Segway Fort Lauderdale is providing Free Segway excursions on Father's Day in memory of Rick Rosen, the father of company CEO Jon Rosen, who passed away from a heart attack November, 2009.
“Looking back on my childhood and teenage years, there were times I felt I could have spent more time with my Dad. I know he would be very proud knowing I brought other fathers and their kids together to spend time on this very special day,” said Jon Rosen.
The Segway tours start downtown at the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society, and takes riders along the New River and Rio Vista where they pass multi-million dollar yachts and mansions along the Venice of America. Jon will first teach participants how to ride the Segway, which he says is very easy for almost everyone, and then will guide you through the scenic and exclusive Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Five years ago, at 22 years old, Jon started this business in memory of his Father. This is the fourth year in a row that he is providing complimentary rides on Fathers Day. “This is my way of connecting with my dad on Father’s Day.”
All guests will receive a complimentary (1) Hour Segway Tour with their Father on Sunday, June 18th from 9am-5pm. Reservations are required.
